Invoice Generator
Create GST-ready invoice PDFs from six professional templates — logo, live preview, multi-page, 100% private
What is Invoice Generator?
Invoice Generator is a free business tool from Farvixo that lets you create GST-ready invoice PDFs from six professional templates — logo, live preview, multi-page, 100% private. Your business and client details stay in your browser and are never uploaded. The exported document carries no watermark and no branding of ours, so it can be sent to a client exactly as generated.
How to use Invoice Generator
Choose from six print-ready layouts — Modern, Classic, Minimal, Corporate, Creative or Consultant — set an accent colour and upload a PNG or JPG logo. The preview updates as you choose.
Enter your business details once and save them as your default. Add as many line items as you need, switch on the HSN/SAC column for GST invoices, and set the tax rate with an optional CGST + SGST split.
The A4 preview on the right is the document you get. Long item lists flow onto extra pages with the table header and page numbers repeated. Download the PDF — nothing was ever uploaded.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the invoice suitable to send to a real client?
Yes. It is properly formatted, carries no watermark and no Farvixo branding — the PDF you download is what your client receives. What it cannot know is your local tax rules, so verify the rates you enter.
Does it produce a GST-compliant tax invoice?
It produces the format: your GSTIN and the buyer's, an HSN/SAC column, and a CGST + SGST split for intra-state supply or a single rate for inter-state. Compliance also depends on facts we cannot check — whether the rate matches the HSN classification, whether the supply is inter-state, and whether you are registered. Confirm those before issuing.
Are my invoices saved anywhere?
No. The PDF is built in your browser and nothing is transmitted, so the file you download is your only copy. Save it somewhere durable at the time you create it, since we cannot re-issue it. Your business details and logo can be saved as a default, but that is stored only in this browser.
What must an invoice legally include?
Requirements vary, but almost everywhere: a unique invoice number, the date, both parties' names and addresses, a description of what was supplied, the amount, the tax breakdown and payment terms. Where tax registration applies, both registration numbers are usually required.
Can I use the rupee symbol?
Yes. The rupee sign is drawn as vector strokes rather than typed, because the standard PDF fonts do not carry that glyph. It prints correctly at any zoom. The same applies to $, €, £ and ¥, which the fonts do carry.
Why does my client's name in Bengali or Hindi disappear?
The PDF uses the standard fonts, which cover Latin scripts only — Bengali, Devanagari, Arabic and CJK have no glyphs there. Rather than dropping them silently, the tool lists the exact characters that will be lost before you download. Type the name in English, or add it afterwards with the PDF Editor.
Why does my logo look blurry?
A small web-sized logo scaled up for print always softens. Upload the highest-resolution version you have — print needs roughly three times the pixels a screen does. PNG and JPG up to 2 MB are accepted, since those are the formats a PDF can embed directly.
What happens with a long invoice?
It paginates. Items flow onto as many pages as they need, the column headers repeat at the top of each page, and every page is stamped "Page X of Y" with your business name and the invoice number in the footer.
Can I add discount, shipping and a part payment?
Yes. Discount is applied to the subtotal before tax, shipping is added after, and any amount already paid is subtracted to show a balance due. The running totals under the form match the PDF exactly — they are the same calculation.

Tips for better results
- Use a consistent numbering sequence across documents — it matters for bookkeeping and for tax filing later.
- Check the tax fields against the rules where you operate; the calculation is only as right as the rate you enter.
- Keep a copy of every document you issue. Nothing is stored here, so the download is your only record.
Common problems and how to fix them
Totals do not add up as expected
Check whether the tax rate should apply per line or to the subtotal, and whether entered prices already include tax.
The logo looks blurry in the PDF
Upload a higher-resolution image. A small web logo scaled up for print will always soften.
Text overflows the layout
A field is longer than the template allows. Shorten the description or move the detail to a notes line.
