Government Tools (8)
Passport, PAN, Aadhaar and exam photo/signature resizers.
What are government tools?
Government document tools resize photos, signatures and PDFs to the exact specifications Indian government portals require — passport, PAN, Aadhaar, voter ID, driving licence and competitive exams. Each preset encodes that authority’s published rules for dimensions, file size, DPI and background, so the upload is accepted the first time.
Why use Farvixo's government tools?
- Presets built from each authority’s own published requirements — NSDL, UTI, UIDAI, Sarathi, ECI, SSC, UPSC, IBPS and NEET
- Pixel dimensions and the KB size range are both met at once, which is where generic resizers fail
- Identity documents are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded
- Photo and signature handled together for forms that need both
- Compliance checks run before you download, not after the portal rejects it
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the portal keep rejecting my photo?
Government portals enforce pixel dimensions and a file-size range at the same time, and a generic resizer satisfies one while breaking the other. Selecting the specific portal preset applies both constraints together. Background and head proportion are the other two common rejection reasons.
Is it safe to upload my Aadhaar or PAN document here?
Nothing is uploaded. These tools process the file inside your browser and it never reaches our servers — which is precisely why we built them this way. An identity document should not be passing through a third-party image resizer.
How should I take the photo before using these tools?
Face the camera straight on in even daylight, against a plain white or light-grey wall with no shadow behind your head, and stand far enough back that there is room to crop. A photo taken too close cannot be corrected afterwards.
Are these specifications current?
They are checked against each authority’s own portal and updated when requirements change. Requirements do occasionally change without notice, so confirm against the portal you are applying on — and tell us if you find a mismatch.
Is there a catch — are these really free?
They are free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no usage cap. Because the work happens on your device rather than our servers, the tools cost us almost nothing to offer. The site is supported by advertising, which is kept out of the tool workspace itself.
