Farvixo ships continuously rather than in numbered releases, so entries here are dated. Only changes you can actually see are listed — internal refactoring and build tooling are not padded in to make the list look longer. See our editorial policy for the standards behind this and everything else we publish.
Audio Cutter goes multi-file
- NewAudio Cutter now takes a queue of files, exports them in one batch and packages the results as a ZIP. Audio Cutter
- FixedA failed cut now reports what went wrong instead of finishing silently with nothing to download. Audio Cutter
Ads out of the workspace
- ImprovedAdvertising on tool pages moved entirely below the tool. The workspace itself carries no ads — while you are doing the task, the task is all that is there.
- FixedVideo and audio tools no longer hang on startup: the FFmpeg worker is now served with the headers it needs to load at all.
Audio Compressor accuracy, Image Converter rebuild
- FixedTarget size is now correct for every input file rather than only typical ones, and cancelling actually stops the work instead of leaving it running in the background. Audio Compressor
- NewShare, QR code and copy-link added, so a result can be handed to a phone without emailing it to yourself. Image Converter
- ImprovedInterface rebuilt with a working settings panel and drag-and-drop consistent with every other tool. Image Converter
- FixedSix tools were leaking object URLs, holding processed files in memory after you were finished with them. Fixed centrally, so it cannot recur tool by tool.
- NewAudio Compressor released: compress to a target file size with one-click presets for WhatsApp (16 MB), Gmail (25 MB), email (10 MB) and Discord (8 MB), solved for exactly rather than estimated. Audio Compressor
- NewStereo-to-mono downmixing, EBU R128 loudness normalisation, silence removal and resampling, with original and compressed audio playable side by side before you download. Audio Compressor
Formats compared at measured quality
- NewImage formats are now compared at equal measured visual quality using SSIM, rather than at the same quality number — which means something different in every codec and made the usual comparison meaningless. Image Converter
- NewBatch conversion, ZIP download, manual quality control and a before/after compare slider. Image Converter
- FixedA single misbehaving codec can no longer hang the whole tool. Image Converter
Dedicated engines for Video Compressor and PDF to Excel
- NewTarget-size compression that solves for the bitrate landing under a requested size, with presets for WhatsApp, Gmail and Discord limits and caps so bursty scenes cannot overshoot. Video Compressor
- NewReal two-pass encoding for bitrate-targeted output, with both passes folded into one continuous progress bar. Video Compressor
- ImprovedQuality is now consistent across codecs — switching between H.264, H.265 and VP9 no longer silently changes the quality target — and only codecs the browser build actually carries are offered. Video Compressor
- ImprovedColumns are now recovered from the page geometry rather than by splitting on runs of spaces, so right-aligned figures and empty cells survive instead of collapsing. PDF to Excel
- NewCurrency, percentages, dates and negatives are written as real Excel values with number formats, so totals and sorting work in the exported sheet. PDF to Excel
- NewScanned PDFs are supported in the same pipeline: pages with no text layer are read with OCR in nine languages and run through the same column detection. PDF to Excel
- FixedCleared a Search Console error affecting rich results across the site: schema carrying a price now also carries the image Google requires alongside it.
