Developer Tools (10)
JSON, Base64, JWT, UUID, hashing and API testing utilities.
What are developer tools?
Developer tools handle the small tasks that interrupt real work — formatting JSON, decoding tokens, generating UUIDs, hashing, encoding and testing APIs. Everything runs locally in your browser, which is the point: it is safe to paste a real token, a config file or a production payload, because nothing is transmitted or logged.
Why use Farvixo's developer tools?
- Safe with real credentials and production data — processing never leaves the page
- JSON, YAML, XML, Base64, JWT, URL and hash utilities in one consistent interface
- Parse errors point at the exact line and column rather than failing silently
- One-click copy and download on every output
- Works offline once the page is cached
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to paste a production token or API key here?
Yes. These tools process everything in your browser — there is no network request carrying your input, and nothing is logged. That is exactly why they exist: pasting a live JWT into an unknown website is a genuine security risk, and this removes it.
My JSON looks valid but will not parse. Why?
Almost always a trailing comma, a smart quote pasted from a document or chat app, or an unescaped backslash. The error message gives a position — the real mistake is usually just before it.
Which hash should I use?
SHA-256 for anything security-related. MD5 and SHA-1 are still fine for detecting accidental file corruption, but both are cryptographically broken and should not be used to verify authenticity.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
For almost every tool, no. Processing runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so the file never leaves your device. The exception is the AI tools, which must send your text to a language model to get an answer back — those tool pages say so explicitly rather than claiming privacy they cannot offer.
