Frequently Asked Questions
Do Farvixo QR codes expire?
No. Static QR codes generated here never expire because your content is encoded directly into the pattern of modules. There are no intermediate redirects or third-party tracking links that can break in the future.
Is my data uploaded to any server?
No. In Static Mode, encoding, rendering, scan validation and image generation happen 100% locally in your browser. Sensitive credentials like Wi-Fi passwords, contact cards, and payment URIs never touch our servers.
Can I add a custom logo safely?
Yes. You can upload PNG, JPEG, WebP, or SVG logos. The studio enforces safe center positioning, prevents finder pattern collisions, automatically configures error correction (Level H), and validates that real QR decoders can still scan the code.
Which export format should I use?
Use SVG for all print materials, packaging, signage, and merchandise because vector graphics never blur or pixelate at any size. Use PNG for digital displays, email signatures, websites, and social media.
Can I customize colors and gradients?
Yes. You can customize foreground, background, and linear/radial gradients. The real-time contrast checker and multi-decoder validation immediately alert you if low contrast threatens scan reliability.
Can I create Wi-Fi QR codes?
Yes. The Wi-Fi tool creates standard WIFI: payloads compatible with iOS and Android camera scanners, supporting WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP, and open networks with hidden SSID toggles.
Can I generate UPI payment QR codes?
Yes. Farvixo generates compliant UPI payment URIs (upi://pay) that launch Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM directly on mobile devices. Farvixo never processes or intercepts transactions.
Can I generate QR codes in bulk?

Tips for better results
- Always use SVG vector format when sending QR codes to commercial print shops to ensure razor-sharp module edges.
- Maintain at least a 4-module quiet zone (white border) around the code so camera sensors can isolate the pattern from surrounding graphics.
- When embedding a logo, always select Error Correction Level H (30% recovery) and enable a solid background plate behind the logo.
- Avoid light modules on a dark background; standard phone camera scanners are optimized for dark modules on a high-contrast light background.
Common problems and how to fix them
QR code scans on screen but fails when printed on paper or signs
Ensure the printed size is at least 20mm × 20mm (for close scanning) with adequate quiet zones and high print contrast. Avoid glossy or reflective paper finishes.
The QR code fails to scan after uploading a custom logo
Reduce the logo size slider below 25%, ensure Error Correction is set to Level H, and verify the logo does not overlap the three square corner finder patterns.
Destination URL works today but may change in the future
Use a canonical URL or branded short link you control so you can redirect the web destination without needing to reprint the static QR code.
Wi-Fi QR fails to connect guests automatically
Check that the SSID name matches your router exactly (case-sensitive) and verify whether the network security type is WPA2/WPA3 or open.
