Can I export to CSV instead?
Yes. XLSX, CSV and ODS are all available. CSV holds one sheet by definition, so only the first table is written to it.
One column came out split in two — can I fix it?
Yes. Raise the column sensitivity slider and re-scan; it controls how wide a gap has to be before it counts as a column break.

Tips for better results

Common problems and how to fix them
The PDF will not load
The file is encrypted or was produced by a non-standard writer. Open it in a PDF reader, print it back to PDF, and try again.
Text comes out garbled or as boxes
The PDF has no embedded font or no text layer at all. A scanned page needs OCR first — use PDF OCR, then re-run this tool.
The browser tab becomes unresponsive
The document is larger than the available memory. Close other tabs, or split the PDF and process it in sections.
